Today I traveled. I traveled down memory Ln. I never thought I would see my first videos ever again. Mike

This is our life

Mike recently dug deep into the pits of hell and found a grip of photos taken of us over the past 6 months. He has assembled these photos into somewhat of a slideshow/montage/circus act to bring you into our world via audio and photos.

I’m gonna go ahead and toot our own horn/ring our own bell/jerk ourselves off and explain some of this stuff and basically talk up how cool whatever event the photos we’re taken at were. As you can see there are numerous parties. These parties we’re all over for various friends, and strangers whom we’ll probably never talk to again. One is from our warehouse when MTV filmed for the reality show with Dr. Drew called “Sex with Mom and Dad”. Look for it to air when the new season starts on February 16th. Another party was in East LA for our friends The Chicos. It was in an incredibly small backyard with a guitar amp for a PA and mud everywhere. Needless to say the show was great, kids went nuts and there was a plethora of free cerveza, pollo and ceviche for everyone, as well as a lot of really cool people. Some of the photos are from two of the times we played house of blues, the second which we set the venue record for capacity at 1400 thanks to hard work and help from our friends The Audacity, Fools Gold, The Growlers, The Shys, My Pet Saddle, and Darker my Love. The main thing this montage/slideshow/circus act shows off is our friends, whether it be people that come to shows, or people in bands, they’re what makes it.
So what’s in the future? As I type this Sean and Mike are tracking drums and bass respectively for some demos, or what may be a new EP which will be out a hell of a lot quicker than the full length took. The tracks are sounding great. You can hear one of the tracks titled “Monk” at our myspace. We have a ton of shows coming up in the next months so come out and have a beer with us, and by that I mean buy us a beer.
